Service Designer and Visual Designer
As a designer I want to understand different points of view and genuinely find design solutions that are valuable for everyone they effect.
I have always been interested in technology, design and communications, and I also have my degrees and work experience in those areas. I have studied Leadership and Service Design (MA), Information and Communications Technology (BEng), and I have video editing and visual communications qualifications.
I currently work as a Service Designer at Gofore. I am always eager to learn new things in design and connect with other designers, which is why I volunteer as an organising member of the Service Design Turku Facebook community, whose aim is to promote and further the cause of service design in the Turku area.
My aim is to design functional products and services,
from both the end users’ and service provider’s perspective.
Graphic Design
My graphic design projects vary from
web design and presentation materials to different kinds of printed products (inc. magazines, brochures, posters, business cards) to designing visual identities. In addition I create motion graphics and edit videos.
Service Design
Service design provides tools for understanding user behaviour, co-designing with stakeholders and users, and maximising the values and efficiency of the service.
The tools and methods I have used in my service design projects:
Qualitative research methods such as interviews, questionnaires and observation.
Visual service mapping tools such as stakeholder mapping, business model canvases, personas, customer journey maps and service blueprints.
Prototyping with various workshop methods and online tools such as Adobe XD.
